Matt 3:1: And in those days cometh John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, saying,
Matt 3:6: and they were baptized of him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
Matt 3:7: But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said unto them, Ye offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Matt 3:11: I indeed baptize you in water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and in fire:
Matt 3:13: Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
Matt 3:14: But John would have hindered him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
Matt 3:16: And Jesus when he was baptized, went up straightway from the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him;
Matt 11:11: Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not arisen a greater than John the Baptist: yet he that is but little in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
Matt 11:12: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and men of violence take it by force.

Mark 10:39: And they said unto him, We are able. And Jesus said unto them, The cup that I drink ye shall drink; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:
Mark 11:30: The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men? answer me.
Mark 16:16: He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.
