Affected Teachings
Here is another attack on the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. His name “Jesus” has been omitted from the three basic corrupted manuscripts and no reason is given for this omission. In fact, there is nothing mentioned as to why his name was omitted. This omission attempts to detach the Lord Jesus Christ from His divine title as “Son of God.” This verse is one of approximately 125 verses in the New Testament in which the minority text versions omit some part of His divine title.
